What should I bring with me when I come for an appointment?
When you come for your appointment remember to bring the following:
- Reports, X-Rays, MRI's, CT scans and any other relevant information

Will my insurance/empanelment cover my surgical expenses?
Surgeries are generally covered by most insurance plans. You will need to check with your particular healthcare plan for details. It will depend on the hospital and type of the surgery you have undergone. Also depending on the plan the expenses can be covered fully or partially.
Will I have to undergo physiotherapy after the surgery?
Yes. Physiotherapy plays very important role in post operation recovery. On an average patients require physiotherapy for 3-4 weeks. You can go to the nearest physiotherapy centre or the physiotherapist can give a visit at home.
When will I be able to travel after the surgery?
It will depend on the surgery you have undergone. Usually patients can travel in a week after the surgery.
For how long will I stay in the hospital?
The length of your hospital stay will largely depend on your condition and the type of surgery that was performed. Many orthopaedic procedures are done on an outpatient basis and do not require a hospital stay.
